How to Give Someone Access to Your Google Business Profile
If you're working with a marketing agency or manager, and they need access to your Google Business Profile, this quick guide will walk you through how to grant that access correctly.
Step 1: Log Into the Correct Google Account
Make sure you're logged into the Google account that owns your Business Profile. This is very important. If you’re logged into the wrong account, you won’t see the right settings.
Step 2: Go to Your Google Business Profile
Once you're logged in, search your business name on Google. If you’re the owner, you’ll see your Business Profile appear with management tools.

Step 3: Click the Three Dots
Look for the three vertical dots (⋮) next to your business name or profile tools.
Click on them to open a small menu.

Step 4: Open Business Profile Settings
From the menu, click on "Business Profile Settings."
This will take you to where you can manage access and other details.

Step 5: Click "People and Access"
Inside the settings, find the option that says "People and Access."
This is where you can invite others to manage your profile.

Step 6: Add the Manager’s Email
Click the “Add” button and enter the email address of the person or agency you want to give access to.
If you're adding our team, you'll use the email we provided you.

Step 7: Choose Their Role
Make sure to select Manager as their role, so they can help manage your listing but not remove ownership or make sensitive changes.

Step 8: Confirm and Send the Invite
Click Invite, and the person you added will get an email. Once they accept, they’ll have access to help manage your Google Business Profile.

Once you have added a manager to your account. Click the X in the top right corner and close the settings and that's it you're done.

Final Thoughts
Giving someone access to your Google Business Profile might seem technical at first, but once you know the steps, it’s quick and easy.
Just remember
- Use the correct Google account – this is the account that owns your Business Profile
- Only grant access to people you trust – like your marketing partner or agency
- Double-check the email address – make sure you’re inviting the right person
A little setup now can save you time and stress later. If you're working with someone to improve your online presence, this is a smart first step.
